Fire Door Installation course – In person course
The course takes place in Bury, Manchester, across 3 days from 9AM to 5PM.
This course is designed for both experienced and novice fire door installers. There is a mix of current legal requirement, fire door engineering and testing and practical hands-on installation of different types of fire doors. If you learn by “having a go” this course will help to increase your knowledge and practical skills in relation to fitting legally compliant fire doors. As a fire door installer, you are required to be competent at fitting a variety of products and know your obligations under the law.

Our Practical Training
We have 20 different fire door apertures at the centre with over 50 doors and key fire components in our large practical training area, ensuring that you get hands on experience with industry leading products. This includes timber, steel and composite FD30/FD60 and FD120 fire doors. We have single and double residential and commercial doors and key fire door component rooms to increase your skills and knowledge.
What you will receive
As we are an approved GQA training centre, you will receive a GQA certificate and skills card on successful completion of the course.
