This course takes place in Bury, Manchester, this is a 1-day course from 9AM to 5PM.
This course is suitable for anyone who’s job role involves them needing a greater knowledge of fire doors. This course is both theoretical and practical, it gives an overview of the key components, fire testing and classifications. You will learn the legal requirements from specification all the way through to the householder’s responsibilities surrounding law and safety and get the opportunity to look at the roles of Fire door inspectors, installers, and maintainers as part of your training day.

Our Practical Training
We have 20 different fire door apertures at the centre with over 50 doors and key fire components in our large practical training area, ensuring that you get hands on experience with industry leading products. This includes timber, steel and composite FD30/FD60 and FD120 fire doors. We have single and double residential and commercial doors and key fire door component rooms to increase your skills and knowledge.
What you will receive
As we are an approved GQA training centre, you will receive a GQA certificate and skills card on successful completion of the course.
