Fire Door Procurement Course – In Person Delivery
This course is aimed at specifiers, builders merchants and procurement personnel.
This course takes place in Bury, Manchester, and is a 2-day course, running from 9am until 4pm.
This course is suitable for anyone who’s job role involves them needing a greater knowledge of purchasing and specifying fire doors. This course is theoretical, with group exercises planned within the practical training area, utilising fire doorsets and components. Assessment for this course is by an online theoretical assessment to be taken in centre towards the end of day 2. This course gives an overview of the key components, fire testing and classifications, and you will learn the legal requirements in relation to specification.
The course details how to procure and sell both fire doorsets, and components that make up fire door assemblies, in relation to current legislation and regulations.

Our Practical Training
We have 20 fire door apertures at the centre with over 50 doors and key fire components in our large practical training area, ensuring that you get hands on experience with industry leading products. This includes timber, steel and composite FD30/FD60 and FD120 fire doors. We have single and double residential and commercial doors and key fire door component rooms to increase your skills and knowledge.
What you will receive
As we are an approved GQA training centre, you will receive a GQA certificate and skills card on successful completion of the course.
