FDM Training & Development Wins “Training Company of the Year” at the National Fenestration Awards!

We’re proud to share that FDM Training & Development named Training Company of the Year for second consecutive year at the 2025 National Fenestration Awards.

This award is a recognition for our team and an appreciation of the hard work that’s gone into building a fire door training centre that makes a difference in the industry.

Raising Standards in Fire Door Safety

At FDM, our goal has always been simple — to improve competence and raise standards across the fire-door sector. Over the past 19 months, we’ve invested heavily in our training facilities, course content, and instructors to make sure every learner leaves with the skills and confidence they need to work safely and professionally.

Our purpose-built the fire door training centre in Bury, Manchester gives learners hands-on experience with hands on experience with installing, repairing and inspecting different types of fire doors supported by a team of specialists who bring decades of industry knowledge into every session.

Winning at the NFAs is more than just recognition — it shows that practical, high-quality training is being valued by the industry. It’s proof that our approach, which combines technical accuracy with real-world learning, is helping to raise the bar for competence and compliance across the board.
